An interesting town in itself, Cupar is a short hop from Edinburgh, Angus, St Andrews, Perth, the East Neuk and Stirling. It's an ideal place to visit for the day - whether you live nearby or are taking a day out of one of the more obvious tourist centres. Visitors to St Andrews - the nearby mecca of golf - don't necessarily want to be on the course all the time, and Cupar provides a diversion from the sport. And non-golfing partners can fit in a visit to Cupar, getting back for the golfers arriving at the nineteenth! |
